Prior to founding Cronus Ventures in Febuary 2000, Mr. Ved spent 10 years at Microsoft, where he designed, developed, and managed several technologies for pen-centric computing and mobility products like Windows for Pen Computing, Windows CE, and Pocket PC.
In addition, he holds various patents in these areas.
He also played a key role early on in developing and implementing tools, technologies, and strategies to take Microsoft products to international markets.
Prior to joining Microsoft, he worked as a Research Scientist at SUNY at Stony Brook, New York, where he was involved with and managed the team responsible for researching and developing a low cost medical device, a heart beat recognition and identifying device using neural networks with related publications with IEEE and INNS.
Mr. Ved holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Bombay University and a master's degree in computer engineering from SUNY at Stony Brook.
