JonDeTech, develops and produces the next generation passive infrared sensors. Applications include proximity heat sensing, presence and motion detectors as well as contactless thermometers. Its thermopile modules are robust and flat and are made of plastic. The unique form factor of this square 'IR-chip' and the material choice makes it possible to surface mount the sensor on any PCB carrier (e.g. flex PCB). JonDeTech AB was founded in 2008. JonDeTech has developed the technological platform to enable low cost IR, heat flux and ?T sensors to be produced directly in a plastic foil material. The product is in many ways similar to flexible printed electronics. JonDeTech AB's development facilities and production line is located in Uppsala, Sweden.
