Gérard Le Bastard

Gérard Le Bastard is a graduate of Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et d'Aérotechnique.
He joined COGEMA in 1979, where he was instrumental in developing the company's spent fuel transportation operations.
In 1981, he became assistant to the Director of the Fuels Division.
He has been president of COMMOX (MOX fuel sales) since 1984.
Mr. Le Bastard became Deputy Director of Marketing and sales for the Reprocessing Ddivision in 1990, then Director of International Affairs in 1995.
In 1998, he was named Deputy Director of Marketing, Sales and Contracts for the company's Reprocessing and Fuel fabrication operations.
Mr Le Bastard was appointed Director of the Recycling Business Unit in October 2000.
Since 2003, he was headed up the Reprocessing Business Unit.
In February 2005, he was appointed as Vice President of Sales.
