Profile

Mr. Esser has a broad background in investment management, quantitative services and financial products.
He was Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing for Templeton Quantitative Advisors, Inc., the predecessor firm of TQA Investors.
He was Vice President/Director of Marketing and a Portfolio Manager for the Investment Counsel Division of Stein, Roe and Farnham from 1988-1992.
He was also Regional Manager for Citicorp’s I/B/E/S institutional equity research from 1985 to 1988.
Prior to that, as Group Product Manager for the International Gold Corporation, he was responsible for advertising and promotion of Krugerrand gold coins in America and then was a consultant to Banco de Mexico (the Central Bank) for its global precious metals marketing (1977-1984).
Mr. Esser began his financial marketing career as a marketing research manager with Dun & Bradstreet in 1971.
Mr. Esser holds a B.S.
in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University and an M.B.A.
in Finance from Columbia University.
He is a former Lieutenant (j.g.) with the U.S.
Navy’s Seabees.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts and the New York Society of Security Analysts.
