Dr. Florian Baumann is an Advanced Researcher at Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung GmbH.

Before joining ZEW, he worked at the Düsseldorf Institute for Competition Economics (DICE) at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf as well as at the Center for Advanced Studies in Law and Economics (CASTLE) at the University of Bonn.
After his studies in economics at the University of Tübingen, he was a research assistant at the chair of Professor Laszlo Goerke, first at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, later at the University of Tübingen, where he received his doctoral degree in 2007.
