Fernando Pinto

Fernando Pinto is a private equity investment associate for Capital International Research, Inc. with responsibility for Private Equity in Latin America.
Prior to joining Capital International in 2006, Mr. Pinto spent over five years with Goldman Sachs & Co. in the U.S.
and Brazil where he was most recently an associate in the Latin America Investment Banking Division.
While at Goldman Sachs, he advised multinational and Latin American corporations on the execution of merger and acquisition transactions as well as on equity and debt financings.
He also executed advisory and capital markets assignments for US healthcare companies.
Mr. Pinto earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a Law Degree from the University of São Paulo, and a BA in Public Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas.
He is based in London.
