Erik Steffen

After his graduation from University of St. Gallen, Switzerland with a Master degree in economics and business administration with special consideration in banking and capital markets, Mr. Erik Steffen joined a traineeship for graduates in the fixed income division of UBS in Zurich and London.
The following two years he worked as a consultant with Price Waterhouse Management Consultants for change management projects in the financial services industry.
In 1998 he joined Zurich Financial Services Group as an economist in the department Group Investments.
One year later he became client relationship manager for Swiss institutional clients at its subsidiary Zurich Scudder Investments.
In October 2001 Mr. Erik Steffen joined Vontobel Asset Management.
As a portfolio manager within the team European Equities and Multi-Manager-Products he is responsible for equities portfolios, balanced portfolios in EUR and for stock selection within the sectors Energy, Utilities, Industrials and Materials.
