Ed Berkley

Dr. Berkey is Vice President for Research and Development and Chief Quality Officer for Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), a large, independent, national, non-profit applied research organization with over 1,400 employees, annual revenue of $233 million, and 35 locations across the U.S.
Dr. Berkey is a nationally recognized expert who oversees CTC's programs in technology development, evaluation, demonstration, and commercialization.
Dr. Berkey is a senior consultant on innovative technologies, advanced energy, and environmental issues to the Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Defense (DOD), and The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and industry.
Dr. Berkey is on the Board of Directors of PDG Environmental Corporation and Advanced Technology Systems, Inc., a minority-owned environmental firm.
He is a member and former chairman of the Environmental Advisory Committee for DOE's Savannah River Site (SRS).
He is a senior advisor to the DOD National Defense Center for Environmental Excellence and previously served on EPA's Science Advisory Board (Environmental Engineering Committee).
He was also founder and President of the Center for Hazardous Materials Research (CHMR) and the National Environmental Technologies Application Center (NETAC).
He was also founder and President of SynCo Consultants, Inc., an environmental consulting firm, Vice President of Energy Impact Associates, and a Manager and Senior Scientist at Westinghouse Research Laboratories.
Dr. Berkey is a native of Mexico and his education includes a B.S.
in Chemical Engineering from Stanford, a Ph.D.
in Engineering Physics from Cornell, and the Executive MBA program at the University of Pittsburgh.
