Profile
Prior to joining Sciens in April 2009, Mr. Reid was a Portfolio Manager at Fairfield Greenwich Group responsible the management of the Single Manager and Multi-Strategy platform.
Prior to FGG, he was Director of Research and Portfolio Manager at Alstra Capital Management, a company he co-founded in 2005 when it spun-out from Moore Capital Management, where he was a Principal, Portfolio Manager and Co-Director of Research of the Fund Investment Group from 2002.
Previously, Mr. Reid co-founded Titan Advisors in 2001.
From 1996 to 2001, he was Director of Banking and Finance at Soros Fund Management where he managed the treasury function.
Prior to joining Soros, he spent ten years at Kleinwort Benson Limited in the Financing and Advisory Division.
Mr. Reid holds a FINRA Series 3 license and is based in the New York office.
