Limousin Participations SA is a regional private equity investment firm established through the 1997 merger of SRP Limousin-Capital Croissance (founded in 1989) and ENL Développement, created in 1988 by young entrepreneurs. Since 2001 the firm has a strategic alliance with Sofimac Partners, the manager among other investment vehicles of the seed fund Le Lanceur, focused on the neighboring Massif Central region. Limousin Participations is based in Limoges in central France. Shareholders include the Limousin Region, the government-controlled private equity firm CDC Entreprises, regional savings banks, insurance companies including mutually-owned entities, private individuals and entrepreneurs.
