Profile

Dr. Lindahl brings over 15 years of diverse professional and academic experience in real estate and economic analysis.
Prior to joining Kennedy, Dr. Lindahl was Managing Director of the Seattle office of ECONorthwest, an economic consulting firm, where he advised public and private clients in real estate, transportation, and regional economics.
From 1997 to 1999, Dr. Lindahl was an Assistant Professor of Geography at Penn State University, where he taught courses in regional economics, real estate market analysis, the global economy, and advanced quantitative methods.
Prior to his graduate work between 1992 and 1997, Dr. Lindahl held positions at Bonz & Company in Boston, appraising office, industrial, hotel, resort, and multifamily properties; Arthur Andersen (formerly GA/Partners) in Washington, DC, conducting market, feasibility, and due diligence analyses for foreign and domestic real estate investors; and Booz, Allen & Hamilton, undertaking analyses in hazardous waste liability and remediation.
A graduate of Dartmouth College, Dr. Lindahl received his M.A.
and Ph.D.
in economic geography at the University of Washington, where his research focused on real estate capital markets and the growth of business and information-oriented service enterprises.
Dr. Lindahl serves on the faculty of the Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies at the University of Washington where he teaches a graduate course in market analysis.
