The firm was founded as MTB Investment Advisors, Inc. in 1995 as the result of a merger between Allied Investment Advisors and M&T Asset Management. In 2012, their name was changed to WTIA. The firm is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Manufacturers and Traders Trust Co. (M&T Bank), which is owned by M&T Bank Corp. (NYSE: MTB). WTIA principally provides investment management services to institutional clients. They also serve as sub-advisor to the Wilmington Funds, a family of mutual funds.

SSgA Funds Management, Inc. (SSgA FM) is a SEC-registered investment advisor and mutual fund manager headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. The firm was founded in 1978 and is a subsidiary of State Street Global Advisors, Inc., ultimately held by State Street Corp. (NYSE: STT). SSgA FM provides investment advisory services to US investment companies and certain pooled investment vehicles.
