David Errington

Mr. David Errington is a Research Analyst at Merrill Lynch Equities (Australia) Ltd.
He joined the firm in January 1991, and has considerable experience in analysing Australian and overseas equities.
He currently heads the Consumer Research Teams in Australia and in the Asia-Pac Region.
In 1995, Mr. Errington focused on Diversified Industrial companies.
In 2000, he became Head of the Australian Consumer Team, where coverage included Beverage, Food, Alcohol, Retail and Diversified Consumer companies.
He is based in Melbourne.
Mr. Errington completed his Masters of Commerce at Melbourne University in 1988 (specialising in Finance).
He was a senior lecturer with the Securities Institute of Australia, and is a task force member with the SIA in Advanced Valuation Techniques for Industrial Equities.
He is also a member of the Audit and Risk Committee for the Brotherhood of St Laurence.
