David Byrnes

Mr. David Byrnes is a Managing Director & Head of Distribution at Factor Advisors LLC.
He is responsible for sales, marketing, communications, and relationship management.
Mr. Byrnes has several years of experience in managing sales teams and relationship management efforts for the distribution of financial products.
Prior to joining Factor, he was Executive Vice President, Director of Sales and Relationship Management for Sun Life Financial responsible for driving all sales related activity for annuity products in the U.S.
Previously, he was a Managing Director and Director of Mutual Funds and Annuity distribution for Smith Barney where he oversaw all sales, marketing, relationship management, and product review for mutual funds and annuities and representation to their 12,000 financial advisors.
He also served as National Sales Manager and a Divisional Sales Manager prior to his promotion to Director.
He has extensive experience in representing financial products within the broker/dealer community.
Early in his career, he held wholesaling positions for Travelers Life and Annuity, IDS Life Insurance Company, and sales positions for Shearson Lehman Brothers and Prudential-Bache Securities.
Mr. Byrnes received a BA in Business Administration from Gettysburg College in 1984.
