Mr. Daniel Höwer is an Economist at Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung GmbH.
He has been working for the research department of Industrial Economics and International Management at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) since May 2008.
He studied economics at the University of Hamburg, Department of Economics and Politics, the John Moores University Liverpool/GB, and the University of Duisburg-Essen.

He wrote his Master thesis "How Useful Are the Predictions of Bank Credit Ratings for Banking Supervision? A Partial Proportional Odds Model Approach" during a stay at the department of micro and macro prudential banking regulation of the Deutsche Bundesbank.
