D. Michael Adams

Mr. Adams is primarily responsible for European capital raising and for Clean Tech sector research.
Mr. Adams founded Pedigree Investments Ltd in 1992, providing global marketing services to money management firms.
Pedigree Investments cultivated relationships with the institutional and private investment communities throughout Europe, the US and Asia.
Clients included Alan B Slifka & Co, Argyle Street Management, Buchanan Partners, Forstmann Leff Associates, Kellner Dileo, Maverick Capital, PIMCO, Standish Ayer & Wood, TQA Investors, WG Trading and Value Partners.
He has had extensive experience with hedge funds and more limited experience with private equity funds.
Prior to founding Pedigree, Mr. Adams founded The Journal of Investing in 1987, a scholarly journal of finance read by professional investors and academics worldwide.
The journal, published quarterly, features articles by leading practitioners and academics in the investment field.
Institutional Investor Inc. acquired the journal in 1991 and continues to publish it.
He began his career with Institutional Investor magazine, where he led the company's business in Asia from 1981-86.
Mr. Adams earned a MBA from Columbia University and a BA, Political Science & French, from Bates College.
