Conor is also a founder shareholder of Beltrae Partners.
Conor graduated with a 1st class honours in Engineering from University College Dublin in 1987 and then joined JP Morgan where he specialised in trading futures and options.
He rose to become their Head Trader.
Conor then moved into energy and derivatives trading with Salomon Bros specialising in oil, gas and base metal commodity trading.
In 1995 Conor moved to AIG where he was head of their London derivatives trading operation for 5 years.
In late 1999 Conor returned to Dublin to work for International Investment Underwriters, Dermot Desmond's investment business.
At IIU, Conor specialised in capital markets trading and venture capital transactions.
Since the formation of Beltrae Partners, Conor has been instrumental in executing a number of our most significant transactions, such as the finance raising for the MBO of Botanic Inns group and leading the acquisition of The Total Fitness Group GB Portfolio, in a deal valued in excess of £140m.
Conor has recently advised on a number of major property re-financings, including some of the first such transactions coming out of NAMA, with a total transaction value in excess of £250m.
Conor led the Beltrae team that advised on the sale of Avoca to Aramark Inc. Conor sits on the board of a number of companies and outside bodies, including: - MMW Ltd, BPL Investments Ltd, Elbistan Investments Ltd and Pinemont Ltd.
Conor led the advisory role to OneProjects in 2020 during its Series A funding round of 11m Euros.
