Mr. Christopher A.
Goekjian is Partner & Chief Investment Officer at Cheyne Capital Management (UK) LLP.
He joined Cheyne in April 2009 reporting to Jonathan Lourie, CEO.
As CIO, Mr. Goekjian has overall responsibility for Cheyne's funds and investment products as well as oversight of Cheyne's portfolio management teams.
Prior to joining Cheyne, he was CIO of AltEdge Capital (UK) Ltd, a London-based alternative investment manager he founded in 2001.
From 1990 to 2000, Mr. Goekjian was a managing director at Credit Suisse's investment bank, where he served as Head of Global Fixed Income and oversaw more than $300 billion of trading positions and 200 traders worldwide.
He also served as Credit Suisse's Global Head of Derivatives Trading for four years.
Prior to this, he was a Managing Director at Bankers Trust Company (1983-1990) working in fixed income and equity derivatives trading in London, Tokyo and New York.
Mr. Goekjian holds a BA from Hamilton College and an MA in Mathematics from the University of Michigan.
