The firm was previously the wealth management business of Dresdner Bank AG, and was rebranded in 2009 following the 2008 acquisition of Dresdner Bank by Commerzbank. Established in 1872, Dresdner Bank was acquired by Allianz SE (FR: ALV) in 2001. Headquartered in Frankfurt, Commerzbank PB provides wealth management services including estate planning. They design tailored financial products and solutions for high-net worth individuals, and have particular expertise in cross-border transactions. The firm combines the reach of a large banking group with the local expertise of teams having long-established client relationships, based in Germany and throughout Europe, as well as in Singapore and Dubai.
