Dr. Christian Dick is an Economist at Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung GmbH.
He is responsible for the ZEW- Financial Market Survey, which serves as a base for, e.g., the ZEW Indicator of Economic Sentiment.
His current research interests include the fields: macro-finance, international finance and the expectation formation on financial markets.
He studied economics at Tübingen University (Germany) and at Texas A&M University (USA).
The major fields of his studies were econometrics, statistics and finance.
His diploma thesis analyzed the role of the open limit order book in price discovery at the New York Stock Exchange.
In May 2008 he joined the research department "International Finance and Financial Management".
