Brett Franklin, CA, is Senior Vice President and Director for MNP Corporate Finance Inc. Based in Winnipeg, Brett develops and implements creative financing strategies for clients in all industry sectors and in all stages of the business life cycle.
A diverse background in financial services, including banking, private equity, hedge funds, and structured investment products, gives Brett the knowledge and ability to resolve challenging financial issues and develop practical solutions to even the most difficult problems.
Brett is adept at guiding clients at all levels of business knowledge, helping them understand the situation and providing expert advice on stronger business strategies.
Brett provides due diligence support on acquisition targets, assists in the sale of companies, and raises capital providing investment opportunities for MNP Corporate Finance’s Investor Network.
He prides himself on his ability to find unique solutions other service providers are unable to find.
Prior to joining MNP, Brett was Director of Hedge Fund Administration at UBS AG in the Cayman Islands.
He obtained his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2001 and holds a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Manitoba.
In his free time, he coaches minor hockey.
