Bob McKelvey

Mr. Robert G.
McKelvey is a Managing Partner at George McKelvey Co., Inc. He has been President and Chairman of the Board of George McKelvey Co., Inc. since July 1976.
He serves variously as President, Chairman and/or trustee of numerous national educational and philanthropic organizations.
Since 1996 he has been serving as a trustee of the Association of American Rhodes Scholars and as Vice President since 1998.
Mr. McKelvey also served as a trustee of Wesleyan University for fifteen years including seven years as vice chairman of the investment committee and five years as vice chairman of the board.
Since 1994 he has been a trustee and Treasurer of the Merton College Charitable Corporation (MC3), the American alumni organization of one of Oxford’s oldest colleges.
He has served as a trustee of The (Animal) Shelter, Inc. since 1977.
He served as a trustee and Treasurer of the Sea Girt Lighthouse Citizens Committee from 1985 to 2008.
He is a member and past president of the Spring Lake Bath and Tennis Club.
He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Spring Lake Community House.
Mr. McKelvey graduated with a B.A.
from Wesleyan University in 1959, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and winner of the Weller Prize for the highest academic average in his class.
He attended Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, receiving a Master's Degree.
He has taught at Oxford and Columbia Universities and served in the U.
S.
Department of State.
