Astrid Frey

Ms. Astrid Frey is a Chief Economist Europe at Swiss Reinsurance Co. Ltd.
She joined Swiss Re in 2007.
In her role as Chief Economist Europe, she is responsible for the analysis of the macroeconomic and financial market environment and the strategic impact on the re/insurance industry.
She is a member of the Group's Investment Committee and co-author of several sigma studies, the leading insurance industry publication.
Ms. Frey is a regular speaker on economic and insurance market topics at industry conferences and client events.
In 2003, she began her career at Bank Sarasin in Zurich.
She holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen (HSG).
