Founded in 1993, Rydex Advisors LLC, formerly PADCO Advisors, Inc., is registered investment advisor and mutual fund manager located in Rockville, Maryland. The firm is a subsidiary of the Security Benefit Group of Companies and their ultimate parent is Guggenheim Capital LLC, which acquired the firm in August 2010. Rydex Advisors is also known as Rydex Investments. The firm manages over 80 mutual funds and ETF products.
