Profile

Prior to joining Van Arbor, Mr. Parkinson was a consultant to the securities industry.
Previously he was the president and compliance officer of Cundill Investment Research Ltd., a medium sized-investment management firm.
He currently is the Vice-Chair of the International Financial Centre (IFC) British Columbia, a non-profit society set up to encourage offshore financial activity to be transacted in British Columbia and was a Director of the Canadian Capital Markets Association (CCMA), representing the Investment Counsel Association of Canada.
He is also a Director of the Canadian Capital Markets Association (CCMA), representing the Investment Counsel Association of Canada.
Mr. Parkinson is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI), and holds an MBA (Finance) from City University Business School in London, England and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary.
