Prior to joining 3i he had already over 20 years of banking experience, having started his career at Continental Bank in 1985.
He subsequently worked in both loan syndications and leveraged finance at Samuel Montagu, Barclays Capital and Bank of America.
At Barclays Capital he held various positions including Head of Leveraged Loans and Head of Leveraged Finance for Continental Europe.
