Pioneered in 2006 the world's first DVB-T mobile TV application on vehicles introducing multiple CAS (Conax, Irdeto and NagraVision) PayTV car set top box with diversity 2 dual tuner receiver still unmatched by any competitor. Pioneered in 2007 the DVB-H mobile Pay-TV eco-system providing to worldwide trials versatile Pocket TV Media Players incorporating content protection solutions by major CAS vendors and announcing with H3G Italy the launch of the first ever DVB-H PocketTV introduced in a commercial network. Another World Premiere in 2008 announcing the availability of the hybrid DVB-T/DVB-H automotive grade mobile TV set top box developed for a European Tier 1 automotive industry leader. Elected by Motorola Ventures as strategic investment opportunity: minority shares acquisition completed by Motorola inc. on Feb 2008. Developed for Motorola a 3G connected Personal TV Media Player delivering the ultimate video experience: Mobile TV, Internet browsing, door to door Navigation and Videos all in one iconic device with compatibility across worldwide networks standards. Released in 2009 the first automotive grade Satellite Gateway developed for Solaris Mobile (Eutelsat/SES Astra JV): a vehicular Set Top Box capable of receiving DVB-H/SH services in UHF and S-band and live streaming over the integrated WiFi module: live TV, VoD from the micro-SD based repository and data cast services to any WiFi enabled device like the Apple iPhone/iTouch, Android based smart phones like the Motorola, LG, Samsung, HTC and the Nokia N series. Quantum is constantly innovating and has already begun working on the next generation applications for the private and public transportation sector preparing a scalable offering tailored for cars, long haul buses and high speed trains ranging respectively from 4 to 50 and 500 simultaneous users accessing video content with their own personal WiFi enabled portable devices and net books.
