Business description: TELEFONICA

Telefónica, S.A. is Spain's leading telecommunications operator. The group's activity is organized around 3 areas:

- mobile telephony services: 300.3 million subscribers at the end of 2024;

- fixed telecommunications services: fixed telephony (24.4 million telephone lines installed at the end of 2024), Internet access (27.4 million ADSL lines), pay-TV (10.3 million subscribers), etc.;

- business telecommunications services: mobile telephony (24.2 million customers at the end of 2024) and fixed-line telecommunications (3.4 million lines installed).

Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Spain (30.9%), Brazil (23.3%), Latin America (21.9%), Germany (20.6%) and other (3.3%).
