South Logistics Joint Stock Company (Sotrans) is a Vietnam-based company engaged in the transportation industry. It provides freight forwarding services, as well as air, rail, water, road and multimodal freight transportation services. The Company is also involved in port operations and the offering of related services, such as cargo handling services, logistics services and customs clearance services. In addition, it operates bonded warehouses, Container Freight Stations (CFS's), Inland Container Depots (ICD's) and logistics centers. Other activities include the manufacture of oil-based products and the retail trading of petroleum, lubricants and industrial supplies for transportation activities. As of December 31, 2012, the Company was 47.73%-owned by the State Capital and Investment Corporation. As of the same date, it had one affiliated company engaged in warehouse leasing, logistics and other transportation related services.
