Rigas Kugu Buvetava AS (Riga Shipyard JSC) is a Latvia-based joint stock company engaged in the building and repair of ships, yachts, catamarans, roll trailers and technological equipment. The Company specializes in the construction of fishing boats, coastal ferries and auxiliary crafts. The Company is also engaged in wood processing and manufacturing of furniture designed for various functional purposes. The Company operates through one wholly owned subsidiary and two affiliates. As of December 31, 2011, the Companyâ€™s major shareholder was Remars-Riga ASA with a stake of 49.86%.
