Mr. Theodore D.
Seides, CFA MBA, is Co-Founder, Co-CIO & President at Protégé Partners LLC.
Mr. Seides began his career under the tutelage of David Swensen at the Yale University Investments Office in 1992.
During his five years at Yale, he focused on external public equity managers and internal fixed income portfolio management.
Following business school and spent two years investing directly in public and private markets before founding Protege in 2001.
From 1999-2000, he was the first Associate hired by Stonebridge Partners, a middle-market private equity firm founded by former principals of KKR and Clayton, Dubilier & Rice.
From 2000-2001, he was a Senior Associate at J.H.
Whitney & Company, where he worked alongside the Managing Partner on hedge fund seed investing and conducted equity research for the firm’s long/short equity hedge fund.
Mr. Seides holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University, Cum Laude, with Distinction in the Economics & Political Science major, and an Master of Business Administration with honors from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business.
