Simon Kitchen

Mr. Simon Kitchen is a Managing Director & Head of Global Strategy at EFG-Hermes Securities Brokerage.
He leads the macro-strategy team, which includes our strategy, economics and index-related research in MENA. In addition, he is in charge of our MENA top 20 portfolio, which has outperformed the market since inception.
He joined the company in 2007.
Prior to that, Mr. Kitchen worked for Eurasia Group, the political risk consultancy, in New York and Cairo, leading the firm’s coverage of Egypt, Iran and Israel.
He studied at Edinburgh University in Scotland and Columbia University in New York.
