Sanjay Anandram

Mr. Sanjay Anandaram is Member of the Advisory Board at Unicorn India Ventures.
He has spent over three decades as an entrepreneur, corporate executive, venture capitalist, angel investor, teacher, advisor and mentor.
He is an advisor to early stage funds and is involved with companies like RedBus (acquired by Ibibo group), Instahealth (acquired by Practo).
He’s a founding partner of JumpStartUp, one of India's earliest US-India crossborder VC funds.
Prior to founding JumpStartUp, Mr. Anandaram founded Neta Inc., a venture capital backed Silicon Valley software startup that was acquired by Infoseek (Disney).
In 1999, Mr. Anandaram returned to India and founded VentureKatalyst, India’s first online publication aimed at entrepreneurs.
Before Neta, Mr. Anandaram spent many years with Wipro in their Global R&D and spear heade several new business development initiatives in India, US, Asia, Middle-East and Africa.
Mr. Anandaram has written extensively in publications ranging from the Wall Street Journal (India Chief Mentor) to the Financial Express to various magazines and blogs.
He lectures to students and corporate executives from various countries and advises companies on their innovation programmes.
He’s involved with TiE Bangalore (as Charter Member and co-chair of the TiE Entrepreneur Acceleration Programme), Nasscom (as part of the Product and Innovation group), with IIM Bangalore (as member of the NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning), with INSEAD, Singapore (as Adjunct Faculty teaching the Business Plan Workshop elective) and is on the Expert Panel of the Technology Development Board, Dept.
of Science and Technology, Govt of India.
Mr. Anandaram is an Electrical Engineer from Jadavpur University, Kolkata with an MBA degree from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
