Robert Thwaits is a Managing Director and a member of the growth equity investment team where he focuses on healthcare.
Prior to joining Declaration in 2021, Robert spent seven years at Warburg Pincus investing in healthcare growth companies.
He began his career at Barclays in the Healthcare M&A Investment Banking Group.
Robert graduated from Harvard College, where he studied Economics.
He earned his MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
Robert currently serves on the board of Springtide, a Redesign Health portfolio company, and is a Board Observer at PetDx.
In his spare time, Robert enjoys international travel, board games, and science fiction.
