Mr. Bakus joined Susquehanna Financial Group on March 12, 2010.
Prior to that, he was a Head of Sales Trading and Managing Director of FBR Capital Markets Corporation, a subsidiary of Friedman Billings Ramsey Group Inc. since August 8, 2007.
He has many years of financial industry experience and has played an important role in growth of the FBR New York sales trading effort.
He was a senior sales trader for both Bank of America and Putnam Lovell.
He started his career at Citigroup and was a top producer in middle markets when he left the firm.
Mr. Backus received his B.A. from the University of Connecticut with a concentration in economics.
