Christopher John Woods
Profile
Mr. Woods joined SSgA as a Senior Portfolio Manager in June 1997 and subsequently became an active member of the SSgA Advanced Research Centre.
Prior to joining SSgA, Mr. Woods was Equity Investment Director at Quaestor Investment Management (a subsidiary of Yasuda Life) where he developed and implemented stock selection models for US, Japanese and European portfolios.
Before Quaestor, Chris was the Research Manager for BARRA International in London where his interests included currency risk and TAA models.
Mr. Woods was educated at Cambridge University achieving his MA in 1978 and went on to earn a D.Phil.
at Oxford in Atomic Physics in 1983.
In 1990, he received an MBA degree at the London Business School.
