Mr. Lau was a founding member of Dah An Commercial Bank in Taiwan and a board member of Concord Venture Capital, a joint venture formed by Walsin Lihwa Corp.
(parent of Winbond Semiconductors), Sumitomo Trust and Salomon Brothers.
During the same period, Mr. Lau was also Special Assistant to Walsin's chairman, overseeing the company's international investment projects and M&A activities.
