Bent, II, is a Vice Chairman & President at Double Rock Corp.
He is senior executive to each of Double Rock’s wholly owned subsidiary companies and affiliates.
Mr. Bent is a pioneer in the cash management and retirement services businesses.
His vision and entrepreneurial drive have been the catalyst for some of the most influential and relevant products and technologies in the financial services industry in general.
With several patents credited to his name, his innovative processes are the foundation for each of the Double Rock companies and have become widely recognized as the standard in their respective markets.
Mr. Bent has spent his entire career with the company where his work and contributions in the development of cash sweep and expanded FDIC-insured sweep programs has helped to transform the cash management landscape into a multi-trillion dollar industry today.
His work with Access Control Advantage has made available an automated defined contribution plan loan solution that reduces borrowing by plan participants by an average of 25%.
Currently, Mr. Bent shares responsibility for defining the strategic direction for each of the companies.
Mr. Bent was a former finance chairman of Gotham chapter in Manhattan.
He was a member of Entrepreneur’s Organization in New York, and has also served on the President’s Advisory Council of Scenic Hudson, an environmental organization and land trust that protects, preserves, and restores the Hudson River and its riverfront as a public and natural resource.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Philosophy from Northeastern University.
