Nettpartner AS operates and maintains power supply, broadband, and railway infrastructure. It performs electrical infrastructure services related to distribution grids, regional grids, and the central grid in Norway, at voltage levels ranging from 0.24–420 kV. The firm operates in the entire value chain, from design and construction to maintenance, upgrades, and control or inspection. It also designs, constructs, and maintains overhead contact line systems and various types of electrical installations for railway such as train, metro, and tram. The company was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Vinterbro, Norway.

Norfund was created by the Storting (Norwegian parliament) in 1997. Norfund's head office is located in Oslo with other offices in Costa Rica, South Africa, and Kenya. Norfund provides risk capital to private firms in developing countries through various finance solutions from loan instruments to equity financing. The Norwegian government provides investment capital to Norfund on an annual basis. Norfund is structured as a separate legal entity with limited liability.
