Barry J. Conway

Dr. Barry Conway is a Director and shareholder of Richmond Fund Advisors.
In addition to his investment and strategic input, he is Compliance director and Money Laundering Reporting Officer for the firm.
He founded the company with Mr. Joss Smith in 1999.
By background an actuary, Dr. Conway worked first for the Graduate Record Examination on the fund management side before moving into stock broking with Woody Gundy.
He set up the New York research and sales function for WG in the seventies, before returning to London where he was recruited to head up the local office for Dominion Securities.
After some 10 years as Managing Director, he left the City in 1989 to return to the world of academia.
Dr. Conway studied and lectured at King's College, London and received his PhD in 1998.
