Anthony H Leness

Mr. Leness is Managing Partner and co-founder of Lincoln Peak Capital, a long-term, supportive equity partner to high-quality asset management firms across diverse asset classes and investment strategies.
Mr. Leness has more than 25 years of experience investing in and providing strategic and business support to asset managers and their leadership teams, and since Lincoln Peak’s inception has successfully partnered with category-leading firms that collectively manage more than $100 billion.
He has extensive expertise assisting managers with a wide range of essential initiatives, including succession planning, incentive alignment, product development, distribution strategy, capital structure optimization, and strategic opportunities, among others.
Prior to founding Lincoln Peak in 2008, Mr. Leness served on the senior management team and board of directors of a financial technology firm that provided advanced analytical solutions to investment management firms.
Previously, Mr. Leness worked in private equity investing at The Beacon Group, LLC and investment banking at Smith Barney, Inc. Mr. Leness is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts Historical Society.
He received an MBA from Harvard Business School and BA from Hamilton College.
