Mr. Anish Monga is a Founder, Managing Partner & Portfolio Manager at Sian Capital LLC.
He is responsible for leading the firm’s investment process.
Mr. Monga served as Partner and Global Head of Event-Driven Equities at Scoggin Capital Management, a multi-billion-dollar alternative investment firm.
At Scoggin, Mr. Monga helped manage the $1 billion equity portfolio and was responsible for managing hedging, risk exposure, sourcing and sizing of positions.
Additionally, Mr. Monga managed separate side pocket vehicles and served as the impetus for several well-known and respected activist firms’ ideas in which Scoggin participated.
Mr. Monga began his career as an M&A and corporate lawyer at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, which provided him vast legal expertise in complex transactions and multi-strategy investments.
Mr. Monga is a published author, as well as an advisor and director to numerous private and public companies.
Mr. Monga holds a Juris Doctorate from Colombia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fisk Stone Scholar, and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School.
