Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, the firm is a wholly owned subsidiary of National City Corp. (NYSE: NCC) AAM is focused on the investment and service requirements of institutional clients, including corporate, public, Taft-Hartley, foundation, endowments and mutual funds. The firm was formed following the merger between National City and First of America Bank Corp. in 1985. AAM manages the Armada/Allegiant fund family out of Cleveland, while private client portfolios are managed out of offices in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Grand Rapids, Michigan and Fort Wayne, Indiana.
