Vu1 Corporation is focused on developing, manufacturing and selling a line of mercury free, energy efficient light bulbs based on its light-emitting technology. The Company is focused on research and product development of its Electron Stimulated Luminescence (ESL) technology. The Company is engaged in developing an R40 flood light for the United States commercial market and a R63 light for the European market to be used in recessed lighting fixtures. In addition, the Company is involved in developing its version of the standard Edisonian A19 screw-in light (and its European equivalent, the A60), the general purpose electric light in the world. The Company is focused on its initial product, the R30 size light for recessed fixtures. The Vu1 R30 bulb offers an energy efficient and mercury-free alternative for interior flood applications. The R30 ESL bulb is designed to replace the 65W incandescent R30 flood bulb in recessed light fixtures.
