Triveni Engineering & Industries Limited announced that pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI LODR Regulations, necessary disclosures under Clause 20 of Para-A of Part-A of Schedule III of the SEBI LODR Regulations, with regard to an order passed by Joint Commissioner, Corporate circle,UP. A penalty of INR 173,468 u/s 73 of the Central Goods & Service Tax Act, 2017 and UP Goods & Service Tax Act, 2017, has been imposed by the Joint Commissioner, Corporate Circle, UP, vide its order dated 24 August 2024 relating to Financial Year 2019-20. 28th Aug, 2024 (Date of receipt of order).
Joint Commissioner, Corporate circle, UP, has disallowed GST credit availed on invoices where suppliers have not deposited GST to the Government and imposed Penalty of INR 173,468. Company intends to file an appeal against the said Order before the Commissioner (Appeals) in due course. There is no impact on financial, operation or other activities of the Company.
