Tata Consultancy Services Limited announced that Mr. Mangesh Sathe is appointed as Chief Strategy Officer. Date of Appointment May 1, 2025. Mangesh Sathe is the Chief Executive Officer of Tata Strategic Management Group (TSMG) and supports Group Chairman's Office and CEOs of Group companies in strategy and transformation initiatives.
Mangesh has extensive experience across sectors such as Automotive and Industrial, Consumer, and Technology. He has deep interest in corporate strategy, technology led platforms, R&D and product development, inorganic growth, and operations transformation. At TSMG, he has been involved in various growth strategy and business incubation initiatives in areas such as automotive including EVs, Commercial vehicles and logistics, e-commerce, technology services, healthcare, sustainability and key Government initiatives.
Prior to TSMG, Mangesh has worked with BCG (The Boston Consulting Group) and PRTM (Pittiglio Rabin Todd & McGrath) in US and India. Mangesh has worked with various Fortune 500 companies, emerging companies, and conglomerates in US, Europe, Middle East, Southeast Asia, and India. He has worked directly with company boards, CEOs and functional leadership on strategy formulation and transformational programs. Mangesh was involved with high impact initiatives such as launching earliest SaaS product in India, building B2B focused platform businesses, first 3G launch in US, using innovative customer centric approach for vehicle platform development and leveraging digital to unlock significant value across supply chain.
Mangesh has developed teams ground up with a focus on building an inclusive organization culture. Post his MBA, he started his career with Tata Administrative Services. He was a part of India's first pre-paid mobile launch.
Mangesh's other interests include sustainable agriculture, farming and allied business, reforestation, water conservation and climate finance. Mangesh is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from WIT, Solapur and has completed his MBA from S.P Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. Mangesh stays in Mumbai with his wife and two kids.
