SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - June 25, 2025 - StandardAero, a leading independent pure-play provider of aerospace engine aftermarket services, recently celebrated the 20,000th engine induction at its Center of Excellence (COE) for Turboprop Engine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) in Summerside, PEI, Canada. StandardAero's Summerside facility, located in Slemon Park, is a Pratt & Whitney Canada authorized Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) for the PT6A turboprop engine, the PW100 turboprop engine and the JT15D turbofan engine.

StandardAero is the world's largest independent Pratt & Whitney Canada authorized PW100 DOF, supporting operators from two overhaul locations - Summerside and Gonesse, France - plus six service centers positioned across North America, South America, Africa and Australasia. StandardAero has been supporting the PW100 operator community for over 40 years, having been appointed as the first independent MRO provider for the engine in 1984.
In addition, StandardAero is the world's largest independent Pratt & Whitney Canada authorized PT6A DOF, with distribution rights on certain engine models. The company supports the global PT6A operator community from four DOFs located in North America, Europe, Africa and Australasia, backed up by a global network of six service centers and over twenty dedicated mobile repair technicians. StandardAero has been supporting the PT6A operator community for over 60 years, having been appointed as the first independent MRO provider for the engine in 1964.
StandardAero is also the world's largest independent Pratt & Whitney Canada authorized JT15D DOF with distribution rights on certain engine models, supporting the engine from the Summerside overhaul facility plus ten service center locations in the United States, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Singapore and Australia.
