Schneider Electric has announced that it will invest over €110m in its production sites in France by 2027 to meet the growth of the electrical network, nuclear and data center markets, driven by the energy transition and digital transformation.
Three sites are involved: Mâcon (new factory dedicated to medium-voltage switchboards), Aubenas (extension for the production of circuit breakers) and Chartres-de-Bretagne (expansion of the site for Okken low-voltage switchboards).
The operation aims to increase capacity, efficiency and scalability, with around 150 jobs to be created. These sites will integrate the group's digital technologies as part of its 'net zero emissions' strategy for 2030.
