Technology company RMD, Railway Metrics and Dynamics, has delivered two rear-view cameras to the United States for testing with a major American Class I freight railroad, according to a press release.

The cameras will be put through their paces in full operation during switching work in terminal environments, with a particular focus on improving efficiency and safety.

"This is a strategically important evaluation, giving us the chance to demonstrate how well our solution performs in one of the world's largest freight rail operations," said CEO Jan Lindqvist.

The testing period will begin in early July and is expected to last approximately three months.
