Cometa Energia SA DE CV entered into an agreement to acquire La Lucha solar facility from Northland Power Inc. (TSX:NPI) for approximately CAD 210 million on March 4, 2024. The sale is expected to close in 2024, upon satisfaction of customary closing conditions, including finalizing insurance placement, lender approval and approval of the Federal Economic Competition Commission (COFECE), required under applicable anti-trust laws in Mexico. Proceeds will be initially used towards repayment of amounts drawn on the Company?s revolving credit facility and for general corporate purposes.
